World Leader of Patient Flow Command Centers

Centralizing Care, Resilient Systems, Transformational Patient Experience

For nearly 30 years, TeleTracking has been operating with a simple mission—to ensure that no one waits for the care they need. Our state-of-the-art technology—combined with actionable best practices and a strong advisory services team—means that we provide the critical operational components required to build a responsive, resilient healthcare system.  And one of those key components is the centralization of hospital operations—the ability to see in real-time everything from the number of available beds to receive and treat patients to the number of pieces of available medical equipment.

This level of insight and expertise into what health systems need to be successful is what led to TeleTracking’s design of NASA-like health system command centers nearly a decade ago. Since then, TeleTracking has implemented more than 100 health system command centers across the U.S.—more than all other vendors combined according to a December 2018 study by the global research firm KLAS.  In fact, on a typical day, TeleTracking manages hundreds of thousands of beds and moves more than 14 million patients across the care continuum—creating the system-wide situational awareness and operational foresight to respond quickly in the short term and drive improvements over the long-term.  And we have the client outcomes to prove that success.  Most recently, these health system command centers have become regional hubs for management of the pandemic and essential to the response.

To help with the national response to COVID-19, TeleTracking has also been supporting customers with the release of multiple COVID-19 capacity and census dashboards to ensure that health systems have real-time visibility related to patient census, bed availability, confirmed and possible COVID-19 patients, patients in need of ventilation, capacity of specialized treatment areas such as negative pressure and ICU rooms and patients by age.  This gives them the information they need to respond quickly to ever-changing conditions—as well as help with regulatory reporting requirements.  And with health systems being charged with the task of expanding capacity by 50% and sometimes even 100% with alternative care sites, TeleTracking has launched rapid deployments, making it possible for health systems to see the beds they’ve had to establish in as little as 48 hours. TeleTracking’s solutions are also being used to help systems track patient visitors.

The bottom line is at its core, TeleTracking’s has always been focused on saving lives, giving more time back to caregivers and giving patients a positive experience—by helping ensure patients have access to the level of care they need where and when they need it. Furthermore, given the financial pressures that health systems face—especially now—TeleTracking helps improve care delivery without adding cost, space or inventory.

Our Pillars

Unparalleled Expertise

With extensive operational and clinical backgrounds, our experts have literally centuries of experience to help guide health systems on their improvement journey. They have been on both the frontlines of patient care and the implementation of Operational Command Centers. They know how to marry technology, process, proven best practices and people to ensure that all functions are working in concert—everything from the emergency department and the ICU to air and ground dispatch and telehealth—to manage our signature “home-to-home” approach to care.

Passionate About Solutions that Work

Our solutions solve the systemic issues that health systems face on a daily basis―and that block patients from receiving the care that they need, when they need it. Through a combination of people, process and technology, we address the operational complexities that challenge healthcare providers. We won’t stop until no patient waits for the care they need.

Meaningful, Measurable, Impact

We have an unmatched record of delivering on the measurable, operational outcomes that matter.  It is about getting the right patient to the right facility, at the right time, by the right mode of transport — the FIRST time. When these factors are working in concert, lives are saved.

Always Evolving

We will never stop evolving, exploring and innovating—and that’s because better never stops. We provide alignment and transparency across every step of the care continuum—and are always focused on our mission to ensure that no one ever has to wait for the care they need.
