TeleTracking is ripping a giant page from American industry and putting it on display at HIMSS13 next month in booth 6619.  We’re rolling out the latest iteration of the Real-Time Capacity Management (RTCM™) platform, which will give hospital executives unmatched ability to manage their enterprise in real time.

This will be healthcare’s version of the Real-Time Enterprise, the management approach which is boosting industrial productivity for U.S. corporations.

The rollout comes in the wake of the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) strong recommendation to look to commercial business for ideas on removing waste in healthcare.

RTCM combines advanced patient flow, business intelligence and real time locating system (RTLS) technology to create a browser-based “operational management” platform.  This platform automates and optimizes daily tasks along the entire patient path and powers live feedback to the entire hospital enterprise.

That means from a single computer screen or iPad anywhere in the organization, hospital executives will now be able to see and proactively manage activities as they unfold via a real-time “moving picture” of hospital operations.

That includes patient rooms and beds, operating rooms and procedural areas, workforce management, mobile asset management, transfers, in-patient tracking, staff location, recent admissions and discharges,  room assignments and cleans, and critical workflow performance.

On hand to discuss their successes with TeleTracking’s capacity management systems will be representatives from several client institutions. HIMSS attendees can learn firsthand how leading provider organizations use our “Best in KLAS” technology to increase efficiency and reduce waste in their organizations.

Showcasing their stories will be:

  • Children’s Hospital of Atlanta: ranked as one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country
  • Methodist San Antonio: largest provider of healthcare services in the region
  • New York Presbyterian: one the most comprehensive university hospitals in the world
  • Southcoast Health System: community based health delivery system offering world class heart care
  • Texas Health Resources: one of the largest faith-based, nonprofit health care delivery systems in the U.S.
  • Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania: world-renowned for its clinical and research excellence, forging the way for newer and better ways to diagnose and treat illnesses and disorders

In addition, Intermountain Healthcare, a Utah-based nonprofit system widely recognized as a transformational leader in healthcare, will feature TeleTracking’s advanced patient flow, real-time locating system (RTLS) and caregiver hand hygiene monitoring solutions in an innovative interactive hospital patient room which will be on display at booth 1810.

We are extremely gratified by our clients’ willingness to take the time to share their stories with other organizations. They are the most qualified to testify to the effectiveness of our solutions and the role we play in reducing waste. This support speaks volumes about not only our products, but the relationships we maintain with our clients.

Many thanks to all.

TeleTracking solutions will be on display at HIMSS13 in Booth #6619, March 4-7, 2013, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans.
