TeleTracking made news at HIMSS13 on several major fronts:

We rolled out version 3.0 of our Capacity Management Suite, completing another major step in leading the charge of a real time enterprise for hospitals and health systems.

We featured in our exhibit booth leading hospital organizations which were on hand to showcase their patient flow successes and outcomes in increased efficiency and reduced waste in their organizations.

TeleTracking clients at HIMSS13 included:

  • Children’s Hospital of Atlanta: ranked as one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country
  • Methodist Healthcare System San Antonio: largest provider of healthcare services in the region
  • New York Presbyterian Hospital: one the most comprehensive university hospitals in the world
  • Southcoast Health System: community based health delivery system offering world class heart care
  • Texas Health Resources: one of the largest faith-based, nonprofit health care delivery systems in the U.S.
  • Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania: world-renowned for its clinical and research excellence
  • Intermountain Healthcare: an internationally recognized, nonprofit, system of 22 hospitals, a Medical Group with more than 185 physician clinics, and an affiliated health insurance company, SelectHealth.

We announced a record-breaking 42 percent revenue increase for the 2012 fiscal year.

And, for the sixth time in seven years, we were recognized as patient flow category leader in the annual KLAS Research customer survey.

The KLAS survey measures client satisfaction in a number of areas, including product performance and client service, by independently monitoring vendor performance through thousands of participating healthcare organizations, using a stringent methodology to ensure all data and ratings are accurate, honest, and impartial.

TeleTracking President Michael Gallup said our record performance was an acknowledgement by the market that operational efficiency is a key to delivering quality care in a cost effective way.

If that’s the case, then wait until the market gets to know our latest breakthrough – Real Time Capacity Management™ (RTCM).

RTCM, that new real time operational platform, which we introduced at HIMSS, will give hospital executives an unprecedented ability to manage their entire enterprise to optimize all care delivery inputs required for maximum patient throughput – from adequate staff resources, to fixed assets like beds and procedural areas, to mobile medical equipment needs – in real time, from a single computer screen or iPad anywhere in the organization.

TeleTracking-HIMSS13-2As a result, hospital executives, care providers and anyone who impacts patient throughput, can see and proactively manage activities as they unfold via a real-time view of hospital operations in moment by moment detail. That includes the status of patient rooms and beds, system-wide census, operating room and procedural area performance, workforce management, mobile asset management, transfers, in-patient tracking, staff location, recent admissions and discharges,  room assignments and cleans, and critical workflow performance.

The Real Time Capacity Management™  platform accomplishes all this by integrating advanced patient flow, business intelligence and real time locating system (RTLS) technology to automate and optimize daily tasks along the entire patient path and provide live feedback to the entire hospital enterprise.

It hits the market just in time to take on the issue of healthcare waste, which the Institute of Medicine says is costing America $750 billion per year. TeleTracking’s Real-Time Capacity Management platform is designed to eliminate wasted time from the delivery process, which can directly impact a significant portion of that overall cost.

TeleTracking added 65 new clients last year, which gave us the opportunity to collaborate with leading EMR vendors to provide seamlessly integrated clinical/operational IT platforms. It was a big step toward true interoperability, another potential saver for healthcare.

TeleTracking Board Chairman and CEO Michael Zamagias was gratified by the record performance, but even more pleased about the KLAS results because “we measure our own performance by one key metric—the number of clients we keep.”
