This is “Healthcare Technology Management Week 2014!”  It’s time to again recognize the people behind the scenes who keep our hospitals running.

Ensuring the safety and availability of life-saving technologies, various biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs), clinical engineers, and other healthcare technology professionals are responsible for servicing, maintaining, and managing healthcare technologies for hospitals and other healthcare facilities, manufacturers, and third-party service organizations around the world.

These highly skilled technicians work under considerable pressure to acquire, install, maintain and train and support clinicians and other healthcare personnel on cutting-edge medical technology. Without them, healthcare would essentially take a giant step back by at least a half century. But with them working quietly “behind the scenes,” countless lives are being saved daily.

To recognize these folks and their extensive contribution to keeping our hospitals running, TeleTracking is offering a free giveaway to say THANK YOU for all that you do!

“Healthcare Technology Management Week” is sponsored annually by the Technology Management Council (TMC) of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).
